About Ithonga
Ithonga is a South African television drama series that follows the lives of twin brothers who are forever linked despite walking two very different paths. It premiered on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) in March 2025. The story revolves around twins, Banele and Sanele. After one of the brothers is murdered, the other is left to inherit a dangerous world of corruption and violence while grappling with family loyalty and the paranormal connection to his deceased twin.
