About Skemergrond
Skemergrond is a South African Afrikaans-language television telenovela that premiered on the kykNET & kie channel in 2024. The title translates to “Twilight Ground” or “Hazy Ground”. The series focuses on the Louw family, who run a flower farm called Everlasting in the small, fictional Western Cape town of Gemoedsdrif. The family is defined by themes of duty, sacrifice, and loyalty. However, their peaceful life is disrupted when unexpected guests arrive and threaten to expose shocking family secrets. These revelations open old wounds and force the family to confront a past filled with deceit and intrigue.
